Following on from the success of my fixed1t YouTube site I seem to have come under attack from email, online, and telephone spammers, scammers and blackmailers. Being a very Tech Savvy guy I've decided that rather than ignore them I'd use my skills and sites to highlight the issues hoping that I may be able to save others from hassle.
Many of you may be wondering where all these links to https://t.co/ and https://t.co/ are coming from when your trying to understand if a site can be trusted or needs to be blocked, if you know how to block things through your router. I have just set up my new #scam-catcher blog and noted immediately that my new blog had been visited by https://t.co/ and was smelling rats everywhere. After some research I can report that they safer than most, in that they are autogenerated by Twitter as part of URL shortening system, by shortening URL using their own algorithms it should help reduce spam the the original Author by not broadcasting their URL for all to see, but instead broadcasting only their auto-generated URL which only Twitter can use and decode. This strikes me as a great idea, as we are forever being forced to disclose URL details which are picked up by SPAM BOTs and bombarded with the latest scam. Here is a nice graphic I found.

I was in London yesterday and went in 4 different Chemists / Pharmacies and non of the had the Pink Migraleve (the only Migraleve with any special ingredient in to reduce the nauseating effects of a Migraine Attack). But all of the shops attempted to sell me the box of Yellow Migraleve at nearly £9 per box rather than the identical cheaper Co-Codamol 8/500 alternative which was around £1.50. This is such an organised extortion racket affecting 10s of thousands of suffers. But what I'm really saddened about is there have been only 30 views of my expose video and 1 share. Facebook decides what it feels should be shared based on advertising and other criteria, but they can be over ridden if individuals choose to share a video with their friends and the public. Migraine is brought on a lot by stress and poverty related stress which means those with the least amount of money are being systematically and deliberately ripped off by big Pharma, but nobody I know (thanks to the one share) can be arsed to share a video which would possibly save severely impoverished people a lot of money. Meanwhile millions of people share videos of cats doing silly things. Doesn't anybody care about humans any more? or want to help themselves and others. Here is my original post:
It looks like I spoke too soon about the Sextortion Blackmailers giving up, the Blackmailer Corine has sent another copy of the original message, so this is obviously either an auto send or they are just redoing the list. Here is a picture of the email:
However there is a new Blackmailer who has popped in the threaten me Anonymous Diego, he says he's giving me 72 hours to come up with £1000 so he thinks his video is worth more than Corine's.
This is not a joke, and sadly 10's of Thousands of people are robbed and their lives ruined by the fear that these blackmailers lies put in them. Here is the Diego Email. Please share this entry with others so they can see what threats these Sextortion Blackmailers make.

The deadlines for so-called exposure from the Sextortion Blackmailers has passed and I've had no further threats or messages from them, which is surprising as if they are monitoring my computer and my online presence, as they say they are they would surely have happened to notice I've published several videos and 4 blogs posts naming and shaming them (shame only works if the give a crap) and highlighting their tactics to a greater public.
So why haven't they released their video, well there are several possible explanations.
This is a criminal Phrishing hoax designed to extort money from me based on a lies and fear
They were able to get information about my machine but not able to access it
They were waiting on my response for the extra details they needed to launch an virus attack
The site the allude to does not exist and is a red herring to scare decent people
So what did it do right:
I did not reply to their email in any way
It was really tempting for me to send them a piece of your mind or to tell them to sod off but I resisted all contact. If I replied, my email would confirm its me and would give them vital information about my IP address and how to contact me.
I am not running a Microsoft Machine which protects me from Microsoft Viruses
Sadly virtually all of the Trojan Virus's out there are written in a macro/java language used by Microsoft products Word, Outlook, Excel or associated code, as a Apple user it affords me a higher degree of security.
I turn off communication programs when I'm not using them
If I were to leave Skype and other programs running they have code in them that allows others to use my machine as a jump off point, this could allow access but equally important it is using up my network bandwidth (if you have a limited package turn it off) by funnelling others calls and videos through my machine.
I keep my laptop webcam covered and desktop webcam disconnected
This prevents anybody watching me through the cameras, monitoring my movements and knowing when I'm around or out.
I have an up-to-date Anti-Virus package with extended functionality
I've gone for years on my Apple machine without any Anti-Virus Protection, its only since I heard of people having their hard-drives locked by Ransom-Ware that I invested in an annual package.

Now this is getting annoying this is my third Online Sextortion Blackmail email in two days, I think I may have upset TORMENTOR who made the first threats to me who should be carrying out his plan to destroy me very soon.
As you can see the text is threatening, malicious and a direct attempt of extorting monies from me through Blackmail by the threat of exposure to my friends, relatives and peers. This is total nonsense.
Please share this with others so they are aware of this insidious practise and so they don't fall prey to it.

I've just gone to check my emails after writing my last two posts on Sextortion Blackmail and I have received a second sextortion blackmail email. It is similar to the one I received on Thursday, it again makes threats, demands money with menaces and demands I pay by BitCoin. This one claims I live in the United Kingdom and suggests I search Google for how to pay with BitCoin which suggest to me they may have a much higher grasp of English than my first blackmailer "TORMENTOR"

Police forces across the world are trying to deal with the increasing cases of Online Sextortion Extortion and Sex Blackmail.
Sextortion By Mutual Contact
In the majority of the sextortion cases a person of any gender is contacted either through facebook, twitter, sex App or by email and befriended. The friend asks about family friends children and the VICTIM is encouraged to become involved in an Online show and tell relationship, no harm in that, what could possibly be wrong with that its not like they are committing adultery or anything, they are just friends.
Over a period of time the new friend may begin appearing sexily dressed, semi-naked or naked and they will encourage the viewer to do the same, just for good adult fun. Then this will progress into them simulating sex or masturbating and they will encourage the viewer to do the same, with video cameras on so they can see and stimulate each other. The Viewer may be asked to use rude and fowl language and pretend to be dominant and threatening as a form of harmless role play.
Then very suddenly all things will change and the nice new friend will begin threatening to expose the viewer, calling them their VICTIM and suggesting y will send copies of Audio and Video Recordings to the viewers loved ones, friends, relatives and work. This is a particularly nasty form of extortion blackmail as it was apparently from a person the victim liked and trusted. If the victim pays, the blackmailer will come back for more and when they stop paying they will send the material. They may also suggest they know where you live and may threaten your partner or children, there are dire circumstances.
Sextortion With No Contact
Unlike sextortion by mutual contact, the no contact version comes completely out of nowhere, one day a person is browsing their emails and they find one named something sinister like TORMENTOR and the email refers to the receiver as MY VICTIM. The role of this email and the tone used is designed to be intimidating, threatening and frightening to the receiver, the blackmailer is immediately trying to install the feeling of fearful helplessness in their victim.
The emails come in a range of awful formats, but the extortion plot line is roughly the same. The TORMENTOR claims the VICTIM has accessed a VILE PORNOGRAPHY site, looked at some pornography on the site and masturbated in front of their computer. What makes this frightening is that they claim when the victim entered the porn site their software infected the victims computer with a TROJAN VIRUS which secretly switched on the victims computer camera and audio and recorded the "perverted act" carried out by the victim.
They also claim that their Trojan Virus captured all the victims links and contacts and they demand the victim pay them a large ransom or they will distribute the video and audio to all of the contacts and links they have stolen. Payment is usually demanded in some non-traceable Crypto-Currency so they do not have to go to a bank to collect the money(and risk capture). The most common crypto currency used is BitCoin. They demand that the victim pay with 48 hours and stress that the video and audio they have will destroy the life of the victim.
They also warn against contacting the Police and others authorities, claiming that they are monitoring the Victims Computer allowing them to see what is going on, they also claim that they are in another country and untraceable.
Being a successful YouTuber I have now been targeted, and as I believe the power of the blackmailer cannot be maintained following disclosure, I have made a video of the first "sextortion with no contact" email I received on the 6th December 2018 (it is below)

I will also be making several other videos on methods that I hope will protect myself from these evil people, and I will publish these videos on my fixed1t youtube channel in the next few weeks.
I believe the more people know about this crime the better, everybody is a potential Victim unless we understand the threat and take the necessary precautions.

There is a new Phishing Scam making the rounds possibly with Virus or Trojan links.
It purports to be a an updated Emergency Exit Map all of the residents in which ever building you are in, here is a picture of the message:
Under no circumstances should you click on the Emergency Exit Map link in the message, just delete the message and empty the trash can on you email system and computer to ensure its gone.
If you are concern it is a real Emergency Map Message then just go and ask the department senior secretary or administrator for one.
If You Click on Emergency Exit Map You Will Be Scammed and there is every chance you will have your data and or identity compromised.
